Tracking Down Isochrones...

Zuckerman 2001 led me to Jura et al. 1998 which referenced Jura et al. 1993.

Jura et al. 1993 used the following method for finding the age of HR 4796A:

1. convert photometry and spectral type to Luminosity and Teff
2. use Nelson, Rappaport, & Joss 1993 (NPJ) 's isochrones to translate Teff--> Mass
3. use Burrows 1993 (B93) to determine age

But these measurements were done not on the A-type star, HR4796A, but on its M-star secondary, HR4796B.

All these papers referred to Stauffer et al. 1995, which also derived the age of HR4796A by finding the age of the M star secondary using isochrones.

So these papers do not help me find an age-determination method for A stars in isolation.
