purpose: Determine the age of A-type stars using evolutionary tracks in log (Teff) - log(g) space.
- Teff and g values come from uvby data from Stromgren 1963 and Crawford and Mander 1966
- because of oblation, faster stars look cooler than they should
- this sets the age estimates off by an average of 40%
- used the rotation correction from Figueras & Blasi 1998
- for A stars > A4, the A4 correction was used
- errors come from vsini rather than v and errors in log(g)
- evolutionary tracks come from Schaller 1992
- stars under the 100 Myr isochrone = 50 Myr
- 12 stars overlap with DEBRIS target list
